It was right across from the beach/Pacific Ocean.

My room smelled like cigarette smoke, which gave me a terrible headache. The pillows were paper thin, everything in general was pretty dirty. In the morning the boiler broke, so my husband and I had to have cold showers. Overall, for the amount we paid for it, it was so not worth it.

It has parking, frig. And micro in the room.

Its a budget motel, so no breakfast, no room service, no internet.

    Good

The price and location are good. The Mimo train line n connects the motel to the city very well. The neighboroughs are quite but you have to accept the Mimo train sounds in the rooms. As a family of 5, we think it was fine.

    Very good

The room we got was really big and clean for the price.

The window at the front desk. Is not inviting to potential guests and it puts fear in those who are checking in. It makes some feel that the hotel is not a safe hotel to stay at. My suggestionn is to keep the bullet proof glass, but don't make it a reflective window so that guests can not see the clerk processing our credit card. Also, an elevator would help, or have the clerk offer or suggest a room on the lower floors because there is no elevator provided.

    Very good

The service is great and the staff was friendly and courteous

The towels are a bit weak

The location was near other family members and close to Golden Gate park where we all met to go to the park facilities. We also enjoyed the oatmeal served at the coffee shop on the corner next to the hotel. The coffee shop had nothing to do with the hotel. Also we were not disturbed by noise from the street or other guests, probably because there were few guests.

The lobby was like a slum hotel with a protective glass shield between you and the staff. The entry to the hotel was from the parking area thru was a small dirty door. The stairs to the room were cramped and steep. The tv in the room was very old and fuzzy. The bathtub had mold around the edge, The towels were dingy grey when they should have been white. They did not have wash cloths in the room the second day and when we asked for them the reception shai "come down and get them" And still they charged a lot of money for the room.

    Good

Right next to beach, coffee cafe, and Muni with free parking.

Room was very run down, especially the carpets. They changed our rooms to the front of the building which was right over the Muni trains. Very loud all night.

Filtered view of ocean beach, and great coffee house next door. It could be a wonderful place to stay with a good cleaning. If you choose to stay here I recommend you take a sleeping bag and strip the bed. The rooms were large and well appointed - microwave and fridge, table.

Dirty floors, dirty and dingy hall ways, dirty, worn bed linens. One pillow was caked in blood and left on the bed with a pillowcase covering the blood. This is not only poor housekeeping, it was potentially medically contaminated. Only one electrical outlet in the entire room - nowhere to charge phones or plug in laptop. The price would have been exceptional except for the filthy condition of the room.

Very dirty/dusty and there was mold.on the draperies, shower curtain, etc. We had three rooms and they were equally gross. This hotel was on the recommended list for ucsf - for family members of patients. It needs to be removed from their list.

    Good

    Nice staff. Friendly service.

The place was clean. It just didn't feel altogether comfortable. The bathroom smelled a little of mold but it wasn't alarming. It was a good, clean, and budget friendly place to spend the weekend. Would most likely come again.

Probably the dirtiest and worst hotel I have ever stayed in

Just plain horrible experience should be torn down and a paking garage put up. Pretty much a crack house

    Fabulous

Cost for what you received. Close proximity to my daughter's apartment.

Window leaked water during rain storm so dripped. Since no elevator can see where might be difficult for ederly people.

    Good

Great location with bus service outside the door. Large flat screened tv. Refigerator and microwave in room.

Very poor maid service. Had to ask to have bed made, and adequate towels daily. The first floor is up three flights of stairs. Very limited, very very close free parking. 12 spaces, 3 of which the management/ family had reserved for themselves. No handicapped designated parking. Noisy with main bus terminal turn around literally under the windows. Wi fi doesn't work most places in the building.

The beds mattress was comfortable. But since the carpet was filthy, there was mold on the shower curtain and on the walls and the room smelled unclean, we only slept on top to the bed spread.

Smelly room, parking is first come first served. Since there was no parking due to all the parking spaces being taken we had to park three blocks away. This is a bad area of town. There is not enough parking for the amount of guest rooms. The staff does not care if you have to park offsite. No elevator in building and no luggage service to your room.

    Very good

This motel is fine - you get what you pay for. I found it quiet and clean. It is near the beach and a great coffee house. It served its purpose of a good night's stay. I would stay there again.

Could use some touching up, repainting and some renovation to improve its image. Too much noise from next door occupants.
